Keeping you safe

We want to ensure you and your children have a wonderful time at The Secret Garden, while keeping you as safe as possible.  We therefore ask that you kindly follow these guidelines:

  • Arrival - only enter the activity session room when instructed to do so by a staff member and once you arrive inside the venue, please remain in your allocated area

  • You are responsible for your child at all times

  • Younger siblings - babes in arms are free of charge but please book a sibling place for toddlers and older (using discount code SIB)

  • Photos/videos - we kindly ask that you do not take pictures/videos in the session as they may contain images of other children or adults who have not consented to have their pictures taken

  • Covid Symptoms - you must NOT attend if either you or your child show any symptoms of COVID-19, show any symptoms within 7 days prior to attending or are living with an individual who has shown symptoms within 14 days before the date of your attendance. If your child or any member of their family group develops symptoms of COVID-19 within 2 weeks of their visit to us please email thesecretgardenpopup@gmail.com

  • Hand sanitiser: We ask everyone to use hand sanitiser on arrival – this will be available at the venue or please provide your own

  • Masks: in line with official Government guidance, adults who are able should wear a face mask or covering

  • Contact tracing: in accordance with current government guidelines, we may ask for contact details for all adult attendees to support the COVID-19 contact tracing scheme and/or customers will be asked to scan a NHS QR code. Any records will be held for 21 days and then will be securely disposed

  • Social distancing - please ensure you maintain social distancing according to current government guidelines, follow directional arrows and signs and queue marking signage around the venue

  • Payment – please pay by contactless payment where possible

  • Toilets - there are toilet facilities but please ensure you maintain social distancing in the queue and only one adult/family should be using the facilities at a time

The Secret Garden staff will also be looking after you by:

​

  • Reducing numbers - activity session sizes are temporarily reduced to encourage social distancing and we ask that only one parent/carer attend with each child

  • Frequent cleaning - The Secret Garden, Busybricks and Salisbury House staff will ensure frequent cleaning of the venue, provision of hand sanitiser at entrance and toilet areas, maximum ventilation in the venue.  Staff will take lateral flow tests the day before each event and café staff will wear masks

  • First aid: all accidents and incidents shall be assessed on the scene by a fully trained first aider, a member of the venue staff team. No other member of staff may administer first aid. The first aid box is kept on site at reception.

  • Risk assessment and policy and procedures: available on request
