Terms and Conditions

Parent/child sessions:

  • Each booking is for one child and one adult

  • Session sizes are temporarily reduced and we ask that only one parent/carer attend with each child

  • You are responsible for your child at all times

  • Younger siblings: Busybricks/Tales & Trails - babes in arms are free of charge but please book a sibling place for toddlers and older. Tales & Trails & Craft - siblings under 2 are free of charge but if you would like them to take part in the craft activity, please purchase a sibling place

  • Photos/videos - we kindly ask that you do not take pictures/videos in the session as they may contain images of other children or adults who have not consented to have their pictures taken



  • Please take note of signs advising use of face coverings inside and limiting numbers queuing inside the café 

  • Payment – please pay by contactless payment where possible


Toilets: There are toilet facilities but we advise that you maintain social distancing in the queue and only one adult/family should be using the facilities at a time. 

Covid Measures:

  • Covid Symptoms - you must NOT attend if either you or your child show any symptoms of COVID-19, show any symptoms within 7 days prior to attending or are living with an individual who has shown symptoms within 14 days before the date of your attendance. If your child or any member of their family group develops symptoms of COVID-19 within 2 weeks of their visit to us please email

  • Hand sanitiser is available around the venue and doors/windows will be open to provide as much ventilation as possible

  • We recommend that adults who are able should wear a face mask or covering unless eating or drinking

  • Contact tracing: in accordance with current government guidelines, we may ask for contact details for all adult attendees to support the COVID-19 contact tracing scheme and/or customers will be asked to scan a NHS QR code. Any records will be held for 21 days and then will be securely disposed

  • The Secret Garden, Busybricks and Salisbury House staff will ensure frequent cleaning of the venue, provision of hand sanitiser at entrance and toilet areas, maximum ventilation in the venue.  Staff will take lateral flow tests the day before each event and café staff will wear masks


First aid: all accidents and incidents shall be assessed on the scene by a fully trained first aider. No other member of staff may administer first aid. The first aid box is kept on site at the main entrance to the building.


Cancellations and Refunds: after booking and payment has been made the customer has a cooling off period of 14 days under Consumer Contracts Regulations. A full refund will be provided if the request is made within 14 days of the initial booking, using the same method you used for payment. No refunds for absent sessions as part of a pre booked course will be issued. No refunds for absent sessions for individual classes unless special consent has been confirmed by staff with minimum of 48 hours written notice prior to the session taking place to which credit for one future session can be issued. If sessions are cancelled for any reason by Busybricks/The Secret Garden Pop-up Café a credit for future session will be provided or a refund can be offered.
